Social Conservatism is fascism
Forget the stereotypes. Fascists can be down-homey people, guys you’d like to bowl and have a beer with, your neighbor who shovels your snow, your neighborhood preacher or teacher. They run for office and they vote. They are often rational, can be witty and sometimes very endearing. Fascists don’t look like “bad” people, and are not bad people…necessarily. They are many of us. But “social conservatives” are still fascists.
